True Bearing Press is a small Christian publisher in Saranac, Michigan. We publish thoughtful Christian nonfiction. Our Puzzle Arbor imprint makes Bible puzzle and coloring books, and Church Renewal, coming soon, will publish books on church revitalization and spiritual renewal.
For authors
If you’ve written a Christian nonfiction book with something worthwhile to say, we’d like to hear about it. We don’t charge authors to publish. We provide the editing, cover and interior design, production, and a True Bearing Press ISBN, and you keep the royalties.
We’re new, and we’ll be honest about what we can’t do yet. There’s no marketing budget, so you’ll need to promote your own book. You won’t have to pay thousands of dollars to get it into print, though.
From our founder
“When I worked as a bookstore buyer, I regularly met self-published Christian authors who brought me books they’d poured their hearts into. Many had worthwhile things to say, but their books weren’t ready for the retail market. I hated turning them away. I kept thinking there ought to be a better way.”
Bart Denny, founder
True Bearing Press
